Dr. Cleophas O. Jones

Dr. Jones, the founder of ULEC, is an educator with 20+ years of K-12 leadership experience at the elementary, middle, high school, and district office level, in one of the largest urban public school systems in the United States. He is committed to providing highly resilient, fun, and encouraging literature selections designed to reach and inspire readers at all levels, but particularly, underachieving levels.

Dr. Jones educational career path is marked by achievements:

• Title I Specialist – Fulton County School System, Atlanta, Georgia

• National Speaker and Presenter – Title I National Conference 2012

• Georgia Department of Education – N&D Publication 2008

• Writer and Author – LPR Title I Publications / ULEC Children’s Literature

• Title I Consultant – Unique Literacy and Educational Consultants

• Title I Coordinator – DeKalb County School System, Stone Mountain, Georgia

• Vice Principal – DeKalb County School System, Stone Mountain, Georgia

• Board Member – Citizens for Common Good

• Member – Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)

• Language Arts Instructor – 6th grade (six years)
